The Slovenian Beekeepers’ Society holds an annual competition for the Most Bee-friendly Municipality. In 2015 the top three most bee-friendly municipalities were –Idrija (1st place), the City of Ljubljana (2nd place) and Laško (3rd place). Their efforts in the field of bee preservation and developing apitourism will be showcased in a top-quality all-day programme at stands within and outside the Point.For you info centre, where visitors will be able to attend creative workshops on designing with beeswax, making bookmarks, decorating gingerbread and massages with beeswax and honey.
