HONEY MARKET DAY
Sales of honey and apicultural products
Ljubljana can be proud that its territory is home to 3% of all Slovenian beekeepers. In Ljubljana, the diversity of nectar plants is extraordinary. Therefore, Ljubljana also boasts Ljubljana honey. This is honey produced within the boundaries of the City of Ljubljana, and regarding the forage present in the City of Ljubljana, this can be floral, chestnut or forest, and has Slovenian honey with protected geographical indication which points to its high quality. Despite poor weather this year, beekeepers have collected honey which will be for sale at market day on Saturday 16 July at stands outside the Point. For you info centre. (photo: Renata Zamida)
